“(for we walk by faith, not by sight:)”
2 Corinthians 5:7 KJV
With everything happening right now in Nigeria. Some people appear to be allowing the uproars, lost hopes, cries, anger, and anxiety to affect their faith. I'm writing this blog post in response to a comment that said "How can God look at everything that is happening to us and do nothing? Does God truly exist? "When I saw this, it broke my heart.
I'm not going to write much today, except to emphasize that God exists! And we must not loose sight of who he is.
He is definitely with us, just as he was with the Israelites.
“But Moses told the people, “Don’t be afraid. Just stand still and watch the Lord rescue you today. The Egyptians you see today will never be seen again. The Lord himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.”
Exodus 14:13-14 NLT
“For royal power belongs to the Lord. He rules all the nations.”
Psalms 22:28 NLT
God has our interests at heart !
““Therefore, say to the people of Israel: ‘I am the Lord. I will free you from your oppression and will rescue you from your slavery in Egypt. I will redeem you with a powerful arm and great acts of judgment. I will claim you as my own people, and I will be your God. Then you will know that I am the Lord your God who has freed you from your oppression in Egypt. I will bring you into the land I swore to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. I will give it to you as your very own possession. I am the Lord!’””
Exodus 6:6-8 NLT
We are to trust God and remain calm even in the midst of unrest.
“So Moses told the people of Israel what the Lord had said, but they refused to listen anymore. They had become too discouraged by the brutality of their slavery.”
Exodus 6:9 NLT
Despite the fact that it may appear as though nothing is happening and your prayers and efforts are in vain, my God is a God who hears and acts;
“God heard their groaning, and he remembered his covenant promise to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. He looked down on the people of Israel and knew it was time to act.”
Exodus 2:24-25 NLT
Do not give the devil the opportunity to undermine your faith in God.
““Roll the stone aside,” Jesus told them. But Martha, the dead man’s sister, protested, “Lord, he has been dead for four days. The smell will be terrible.” Jesus responded, “Didn’t I tell you that you would see God’s glory if you believe?””
John 11:39-40 NLT
Finally, remember that everything will work out for our good no matter what is going on in our nation, workplace, or personal lives.
“And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.”
Romans 8:28 NLT
“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me. I will be found by you,” says the Lord. “I will end your captivity and restore your fortunes. I will gather you out of the nations where I sent you and will bring you home again to your own land.””
Jeremiah 29:11-14 NLT

Let's Pray:
Heavenly Father, we just want to say we trust you and no matter what's happening we will not be discouraged and allow our faith in you to be affected. Let your will be done. Amen
Shalom!
GOD bless Naija
